Can I buy a book I found in WorldCat.org directly from OCLC?

Applies to
  • WorldCat.org
Answer

OCLC's WorldCat is a cooperative catalog that includes millions of records, contributed by our member institutions.
OCLC only provide the WorldCat database for searching, but OCLC does not own or lend library materials.
Furthermore, Books or other materials cannot be bought from OCLC.

To borrow an item, please contact your local library.
They may be able to order it for you through interlibrary loan. If you need help finding a library near you, WorldCat registry can assist with this.
If a book is available for sale from one of our partners, a link will be provided in the ‘Buy this item’ section on the right-hand side of the relevant title page.
